And one of my favorite subjects to photograph are the smaller animals that inhabit my state; often, I find subjects close to home. Some of these critters are not often seen, let alone photographed. It creates a challenge to find these animals in their natural habitat. All but the Lynx were photographed that way. The Lynx was a captive animal, staring at a bird off camera. Everywhere you look along riverbanks, pastures with horses and windbreaks of trees you will see golden yellow leaves, crimson reds, mixed with orange, and different shades of green.

A brief description follows: Diporiphora bilineata - View images of this fascinating little lizard which is found in a wide variety of habitats from sanddunes to woodland and both wet and dry sclerophyll forest. It is diurnal and largely terrestrial, however, it climbs into low vegetation or on to fallen timber where it forages for small insects. The female was heavily pregnant and whilst watching her, a male ran up to her and mated, biting her on the back of the neck and eventually releasing her.

In addition, it is less than 10 miles to the Santo Domingo airport. All of these positive factors make Boca Chica an ideal vacation destination.

A brief description follows: The Albert Bridge, which is a ‘hogsback’ steel truss bridge on masonry piers, was constructed in 1894-95 being integral to the southwest railway system linking Brisbane with Ipwich, the Darling Downs, and southeast Queensland. It replaced an earlier Albert Bridge which was built in 1876 and destroyed by the disastrous 1893 Brisbane flood.
